Annual USC Corporate Governance Summit
Los Angeles, California – October 27th, 2011 -- Bud Mathaisel, Achievo Executive Advisor, was a panel speaker at the two-day USC Corporate Governance Summit. The Annual event, brings together ideas and perspectives from leaders from industries and the academia throughout the United States. The theme of this year’s conference was: Leading through Uncertainty. Mr. Mathaisel’s panel addressed the topic "IT and the Boardroom." The discussions focused on what board directors need to know about managing IT in businesses and organizations, and how directors should treat IT as a major area of opportunity and risk.

Achievo VP Invited to Speak at Global Economic Leaders Summit
Changchun City, Jilin Province, China – September 5th, 2011 -- Ellis Hung, Achievo Vice President and General Manager of the North America West Division, was invited to speak at the 2011 Global Economic Leaders Summit (GELS). The Summit is an annual event that promotes integration of economic resources to strengthen international cooperation. Participants of GELS include leaders in global industries as well as in the political, academic, and science arenas. Mr. Hung’s speech was focused on the topic "The Impact of China Technology Services on Global Economy in the 21st Century" in which he addressed the challenges of the current global market and emerging opportunities in the technology services industry for China.

The 4th Global Outsourcing Summit (GOS)
Maanshan City, Anhui Province, China
Ellis Hung, Achievo Vice President and General Manager of North America West Region, was invited to deliver a speech at the 4th Global Outsourcing Summit in China. The GOS is a major annual international conference jointly organized by Asia-Pacific CEO Association and governments of countries actively engaged in outsourcing services. Ellis’s address was “U.S. Customer Insights on Outsourcing in China”. This is the second year for Ellis to address the conference. Mr. Wang Sanyun (Anhui Provincial Governor), Mr. Wang Chao (China’s Vice Minister of Commerce), Mr. Zheng Weiwen (Secretary of Maanshan Municipal Committee of the CPC), Mr. Zhang Xiaolin (Mayor of Maanshan Municipal Government) and Honorable John Winston Howard (the 25th Prime Minster of Australia) were the keynote speakers at the event.

Bud Mathaisel, Achievo Executive Advisor, was invited to deliver a keynote address and lead a panel at the Spring CIO Global Forum. The CIO Global Forum meets twice a year and brings together a select group of very large company CIOs who speak openly and directly about their challenges and accomplishments. Bud’s visionary address was: “What Boards need to know about emerging Technology”. His discussion panel focused on the CIO Career Planning and Board Positioning. This is the second year for Bud to participate in this CIO global forum. At the end of the two-day session, attendees came away with a comprehensive and intimate view of what the best CIOs are up to nowadays and how they are capturing new opportunities to drive value and innovation in their businesses.

Bud Mathaisel, Achievo Executive Advisor, has been a contributing researcher and writer for the PWC Thought Leadership Center. Bud has contributed to PWC publications on Mobility Computing, Innovation, Social Networks and several research papers focused on the future role of the Chief Information Officer. Earlier in his career, Bud founded and led the Ernst & Young Center for Business Innovation, which was E&Y’s Thought Leadership Center based in Boston, Massachusetts. His research through PWC provides insight and practical examples on leading practices in the application of Information Technology to business strategy. As of the end of March 2011, Bud presented a recent research paper For PWC entitled “What Boards should know about emerging IT” to the Audit Committee Roundtable of Orange County, California. It was very well received by attendees.
