Achievo and China Educational Institutions Create Joint Training Programs For University Graduates

Training Provides Skilled Employees to Achievo

SAN RAMON, Calif. - December 5, 2006 - Achievo® Corporation, the leading global software and information technology outsourcing provider with a local front-end and China back-end service model, today welcomed the first group of university graduates from a joint training program with the Beijing ACEIT Training Institute. In addition, Achievo has signed long term agreements with China's Shenzhen University and Beijing Information Technology Institute to provide qualified personnel to Achievo on an ongoing basis.

"As global businesses look to China as the alternative outsourcing destination for high-quality software development, we must be prepared to have qualified employees in place with skills that meet the specifications of our clients' projects," said Dr. Robert P. Lee, Achievo's chairman and CEO. "With the complexity of software today, it isn't enough to expect that university graduates will have all of the capabilities required by clients. We are investing time and money in this training and professional development program to ensure that we have a pool of qualified graduates we can hire immediately to keep pace with our growth, and know that these graduates have the skill level to deliver the results our customers expect."

Achievo's programs with these educational institutions focus on developing quality assurance engineers, testing engineers and programmers. The new recruits will primarily work for Achievo ANS, an Achievo division that focuses on engineering and application development services for customers in Japan and throughout Asia. Achievo is establishing additional programs with universities in China.

"These are on-going programs in which students complete their final year with Achievo," said James Zhang, human resources vice president for Achievo China. "With this first group of students, we will offer full time jobs to those graduates who meet the program's requirements when their training is completed by early next year,"

In addition, Achievo offers in-house training in English, computer programming languages, and courses for technical ability improvement. The company has long-term plans to offer employees additional training in business, project management skills, and development processes.

"Achievo is creating a work environment that encourages and supports creativity, innovation, communication and collaboration," said Dr. Lee. "Achievo hires employees who want to challenge themselves and work on new technologies. We are committed to providing opportunities that fully realize each and every employee's individual professional potential."
