Achievo Creates Two Business Groups in China to Support Growth; Bolsters Customer Service and Support
SAN RAMON, Calif. - August 6, 2006 - Achievo® Corporation, the leading global software and information technology outsourcing provider with a local front-end and China back-end service model, today announced the creation of two new business groups in China to focus on core businesses and raise the level of service and support provided to global customers. The Achievo Multinational Business Group and the Achievo Japan Business Group, both located in China, will be headed by Vincent Lin, PhD and James C. Li, PhD, respectively. Drs. Lin and Li will report to Dr. Robert P. Lee, Achievo's chairman and chief executive officer.
"Achievo is creating a more efficient business structure for its operations worldwide to maximize the service it provides to customers, and leverage the strengths, skills and expertise of its development centers in China," said Dr. Lee. The Asia divisions will now report to the business groups: Achievo Jeyo (Guangzhou, China) and Achievo VisualSoft (Taipei, Taiwan and Jinan, China) report to the Multinational Business Group; Achievo BBX (Beijing, China; Dalian, China and Tokyo, Japan); Achievo ANS (Tokyo, Japan and Beijing, China) and Achievo Wintech (Shanghai, China) report to the Japan Business Group.
